Das inhaltlich redaktionelle Konzept – Straßenkulturen in Deutschland

Straßenkulturen (Engl. „Street Cultures“), das sind suburbane Szenen, die sich abseits des bürgerlichen Mainstreams in den großen und kleinen Städten der Welt entwickelt und etabliert haben. Dabei sind zwei unterschiedliche Gruppen auszumachen: Die einen, die sich freiwillig für ein Leben auf der Straße entschieden und die Straße zum Mittelpunkt ihres Lebens gemacht haben und jene, deren Schicksal weit weniger optimistisch mit den Straßen der Welt verknüpft ist.

Das Medienprojekt „Street Lights TV“ möchte sich diesen vielfältigen Szenen auf Deutschlands Straßen widmen und in einer Dokumentar-/Reportage-Serie versuchen authentisch wiederzugeben. Aus diesem Grund zieht ein kleines Produktions-Team von drei Leuten durch Deutschlands Großstädte und versucht, die jeweiligen Straßenszenen in den einzelnen Städten einzufangen.

Geschichten der Straße

Während die einen es als Glück und Bestimmung sehen, die Straßen zu bevölkern, gibt es eine große Anzahl von Menschen, die mit oder ohne eigenes Verschulden, auf der Straße gelandet sind, ohne dass dies ihr erklärtes Ziel war. Womöglich waren vielmehr Pech und Unvermögen ausschlaggebend dafür, dass sich ihr Leben heute rund um die Straßen zentriert.

Das zentrale Anliegen des Medienprojektes „Street Lights TV“ ist es, Interviews mit Vertretern von Szenen durchzuführen, die einen Bezug zur Straße haben. Hierbei ist es gleich, ob die Menschen auf der Straße leben oder diese lediglich als Medium und Kommunikationsplattform ihrer individuellen Botschaften verstehen. Egal ob die Straße als Fluch oder Erlösung gesehen wird, “Street Lights TV” versucht einen weiten Blick auf die sehr vielfältige Straßenwelt in Deutschland zu werfen.

Suchen, Finden, Publizieren

Dabei sollen neue und noch unentdeckte Gesichter und Geschichten einer Parallelgesellschaft des Bürgerlichen Lebens festgehalten werden, die durch die Ausstrahlung einem großen Publikum präsentiert werden und damit Einzug in das Bewusstsein der Öffentlichkeit erhalten sollen.
